Radiesse is a versatile product that is injected under the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial fold, marionette lines, temples, jawline, jowls, neck, and decolletage. While treatment to the hands can correct volume loss and return the hand to it's youthful state. 

Radiesse is a biostimulator made with calcium hydroxylapatite that stimulates the body to increase production of elastin and collagen. 

Over time, you will see an improvement in complexion in the treated area along with smoother lines and wrinkles and restored contours.  As the collogen and elastin builds, promotion of renewed skin structure and fullness is created.  

While swelling of the treated area will be evident, this last about a week then you can expect your appearance to return to the pretreatment state.  As elastin and collagen build, you will notice a gradual improvement  over a 2-4 month period.  

After 4-6 weeks, you may need to return to your injector for additional treatment to enhance your results and further the production of elastin and collagen. This high density of collagen and elastin provide long-term structural support that can last up to 2 years. Sometimes longer!

Yes, there can be temporary swelling after Radiesse that can last for a week. Mild pain or discomfort can be present for the first 24 to 48 hours that can be treated with an over the counter Acetaminophen or Tylenol.  Numbing medication is infused in the product making the treatment painless.
